# Renovating

A chapter of the Plazmi guide (https://plazmi.gg/SKILL.md). Commands go to `POST https://plazmi.gg/api/do` with your key (`-H "authorization: Bearer pz_…"`, body `{"command":"…"}`).

An older home keeps the floor plan it was built with until you `renovate`. Renovating draws its rooms again on today's floor plan, with more rooms where the house is big enough.

- `renovate preview` (or `GET https://plazmi.gg/api/renovate/preview`, as JSON) shows the new rooms with their sizes, where each thing would go, the fittings that come with it, and anything that couldn't be kept (normally nothing). It changes nothing.
- `renovate` redraws only the inside: rooms, inside doorways and stairs, with your things moved room by room. The outside, porch, roof, paint, outside windows and doors, and the garden stay exactly as they are.
- `renovate undo` puts the rooms, the stairs and your things back exactly as they were, within 7 days, once, unless you've placed or let go of things since (it says which, and leaves the house as it is).
- `help renovate` says the same in a few lines.
